I was born in Michigan and raised in a rural farming community near the Lansing, Jackson, Ann Arbor area, where I developed my love of animals, enjoying nature and wide-open spaces. As an adult, I traded in the bitter cold winters for the sun kissed beaches of Southwest Florida, where I resided in several areas of Charlotte County over the years. My husband Paul and I have been married since 1996, and we had the pleasure of raising three of the sweetest Australian Shepherd girls, Freckles, SweeTea and Sydney. Our current sweet pup is a rescued Mini Aussie named Maggie Mae.
Longing for a change in scenery, we moved to Lincolnton and have fallen in love with the small-town charm and farming community. I feel like I'm back in my element again! I am also so blessed to have found my new church home at Boger City Baptist Church. In my spare time, I enjoy being outdoors whether it be walking at the park, visiting the mountains, or exploring the sights in neighboring towns. I've also had the pleasure of volunteering at Bit of Hope Ranch in Gastonia.
Before leaving Florida, I worked for 11 years with Michael Saunders & Company, a high-end real estate firm specializing in waterfront properties along the Southwest Gulf Coast.
